About
Trint is an online and Apple iOS A.I. transcription software that seeks to solve the pain of manual transcription, saving time in the production, research and storytelling workflow.
Context
The previous interface presented us with some issues on the topics of scalability, navigation, information architecture and most of all, the design didn’t align with the company vision of where Trint is headed. Our mission was to strip every custom build created and start using more iOS native components that would allow for less visual bugs, easier development changes and less crashes.
User insights
The insights and feedback we received from the group of users we spoke to was highly valuable. Within the interviews we performed usability testing for two different ways of navigation the application, to which the majority of people had a preference of being presented all available features and functionality on the same page (Option 2).
Future developments
There are still more developments to be made for the app, one of which being onboarding that will match the new brand identity of Trint. This focus will also allow for a more revamped set of interactions and experience.
